Considering that Nielsen reports that 28% of US online shoppers subscribe to store or product emails to stay informed, email marketing continues to be a very effective way for businesses to stay connected to their customers. Furthermore, a business owns and has complete control over the use of their email marketing list, removing their dependence on the social media channels now limiting their post distribution without a paid ad campaign.
When designing an email marketing layout/campaign, we design it to not only reflect your branding and deliver your message, but to display properly on all devices … this is of vital importance, as Forrester Research reports that 42% of retailers’ email messages are opened by consumers on their smartphones and 17% are opened on tablets.
We’ve designed and coded hundreds of email marketing pieces. Back when email marketing was just starting out, we saw the potential of its value and learned how to do it well. We started out with nightclub newsletters which advertised specific events. We tied in the marketing pieces we created (posters and the flyers) and came up with a design that branded the event.
From there we got into automotive email marketing. Automotive is a tricky, complicated beast. There are many considerations to make, so the team must be well organized with strong attention to detail.
The email blasts we do go out to tens of thousands of customers, so it <em>has</em> to be perfect. Our team comes up with the concepts, executes the design, and proofs carefully before anything ever gets to the client for approval. We also have strong experience with Marketo and Sales Force (and others), having worked with several high tech medical device companies. All email blasts are designed to work on all mail platforms and we do intensive testing. We are <em>very</em> good at this.
