Our primary focus is on creating great designs and advertising to help our clients meet their business goals. Awards provide recognition for the work we do for our clients... and can sometimes bring increased visibility to our clients as well!

Here are a few of the awards won by our staff members:

2009: SBCA Best of Business Award

Lunagraphica, Inc has been selected for the 2009 Best of Business Award in the Commercial art and graphic design category by the Small Business Commerce Association (SBCA). 

The SBCA 2009 Award Program recognizes the top 5% of small businesses throughout the country.

2008: Constant Contact All Star for Email Marketing

LunaGraphica was recognized by Constant Contact as a 2008 All Star. The award is for effective use of e-mail marketing, maintaining 'sound permission-based email marketing and list management best practices.'

LunaGraphica is a Constant Contact Partner, and manages permission based e-mail marketing for many of our clients.

2008: OZZIE Award for Best Website

Ideal Media's MonkeyDish.com website, designed by LunaGraphica, has been awarded a Gold Medal in FOLIO magazine's Ozzie Awards. FOLIO's Eddie and Ozzie Awards recognize excellence in magazine editorial and design.

The 2008 competition consisted of over 2,800 entries. MonkeyDish.com was awarded the Gold Medal for Best Site Design for outstanding design, functionality and navigation.

2008: BeanCellar.com wins Canadian Web Award

The Bean Cellar cafe won a 2008 Canadian Web Award for their website, designed by LunaGraphica.

2006: NiteVibe Flyer of the Week (Fall Sessions) - 10/17/06  

2006: Communicator Award of Distinction

Greenware, the newsletter of the Orchard Valley Ceramic Arts Guild, won an Award of Distinction in the non-profit newsletter category. (Greenware is designed, edited, and produced by LunaGraphica.)

The Award of Distinction is awarded for projects that exceed industry standards in design or communication skills. Entries were judged by industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.

2006: Apple's Featured Widget - 1/2/2006

The RestaurantRatingz widget, designed by LunaGraphica, was selected as Apple Computer's Featured Widget. Congratulations to our client, Ratingz Inc.

2005: iStockPhoto Design of the Week - 12/24/05

Our pop-up New Years Eve invitation for San Francisco's Ruby Skye nightclub incorporated several images from iStockPhoto.

2005: NiteVibe Flyer of the Week (Kramer)- 9/16/05  

2005: APEX Award for Most Improved Website

LunaGraphica's complete redesign of the website for the prestigious Allied Arts Guild won an APEX Award for Excellence in the category of Most Improved Website. (Cindy Couling and Bob Nicholson.)

2003: APEX Award for General Excellence

Greenware, the newsletter of the Orchard Valley Ceramic Arts Guild, won an Award of Distinction in the non-profit newsletter category. (Greenware is designed, edited, and produced by LunaGraphica.) The APEX Awards are an annual competition for writers, editors, publications staff and business & nonprofit communicators.

2001: General Excellence

The Los Gatos Weekly-Times won 1st place in the prestigious General Excellence category, while the Saratoga News was awarded 2nd Place. The General Excellence award recognizes the overall quality of the publication and the efforts of the entire staff. (Cindy Couling was editorial production supervisor for both papers)

2001: 1st Place in Page Design and Layout

The Campbell Reporter won 1st Place in Page Design and Layout. (Cindy Couling and Paula Lopez)

2000: 1st Place in Page Design and Layout

In its first year of publication, The Campbell Reporter won 1st Place in Page Design and Layout (weekly papers 11,000-25,000 circulation) in the California Newspaper Publishers Association annual awards. (Cindy Couling and Robin Mendez)
